On October 9th we went to a pumpkin patch with our friends John & Sherylen and their son Simon.
Lydia was surprised to see so many pumpkins. It looked like the book Too Many Pumpkins had come true.
Beautiful smiles!
The setting sun created shadows and brought out the color in the pumpkins. Lydia liked the small pumpkins that she could pick up and put into empty baskets.

Lydia got to ride in the wagon with the pumpkins while Simon pulled for a little while.
Besides pumpkins, we saw goats, cows, pigs, chickens, llamas. Lydia petted a very mellow bunny. Then she tried to pet a duck and it snapped at her finger.
We left with one large pumpkin, one small pumpkin, and several miniature pumpkins and gourds. When the large pumpkin was weighed at the checkout, it weighed the same as Lydia.
