Fun and Imagination

Super Lydia is so strong!

Lydia was playing with one of Mommy's red t-shirts, trying to put it on, when Mommy decided to tie it around her shoulders and our little girl became Super Lydia. She recently learned to flex her muscle for the word strong. So all I have to do is say, "Lydia is so strong," and this is what she does.

Lydia has quite the imagination. If you've spent any time with her you might have seen her talking on her imaginary cell phone. Anything can become a cell phone- a piece of wood mulch, a spoon, or just her fist held to her ear. She says, "Hello," and then babbles away. When she does this during dinner (usually with her spoon) we sometimes think she's calling to order some take out food.

Lydia doesn't need a play kitchen when she's got the couch. The other day I realized that she was pretending that the side of the couch was an ice dispenser.

Last week she was playing under the slide, pretending that it was a house. She sat on the first rung of the ladder and started typing on her computer (the second rung of the ladder).
