November Pictures and Highlights

Blogging has been sporadic the past few months. We've been so busy. Here are some of the highlights.

Raking Leaves and Jumping in Them

A Visit from Great-Grandma (GG) and Great Aunt Gaye and Great Uncle Harvey and cousin Michael.

Kids' World
We went to Kids' World with Uncle Harvey and Michael. We visited booths about different countries, tasted baklava and Turkish delight, watched the Chinese lion dance, and tried on wooden shoes from the Netherlands.

The Aquarium
(Sorry, I didn't take any pictures) Lydia and Mama went to the Oklahoma Aquarium with Aunt Gaye, Uncle Harvey and Michael. Lydia liked sticking her hands in the touch tanks. She touched a sea star, a shark's egg, and a sea cucumber. (The stingray petting area was closed.) She said "Hi" to the huge catfish and was brave enough to go through the shark tunnel. On the way out Uncle Harvey bought her a clownfish and mermaid that she can play with in the bathtub.

Parents as Teachers Playgroup
Lydia's artwork is proudly displayed on the refrigerator.
