This afternoon we took a tour of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Before we entered, we saw the changing of the guard ceremony. We had an English speaking tour guide who led us through the palace grounds. The place was huge! I was amazed by the colorful and elaborate decorations on the gates and buildings.
At the far end of the palace grounds is the National Folk Museum of Korea. We went through the museum without a tour guide. They have a children's museum with interactive exhibits. I got to dress up in a traditional Korean hanbok, which must have been made for the queen(extremely long sleeves). I needed the help of one of the museum workers to put it on. What a fun day!
