What time is it?

We are still getting used to the time change. Jim is almost back on central time, but the girls are still somewhere between Seoul and Tulsa. Lydia has been doing great. She has not thrown up since we arrived in the US and is getting her appetite back. She had her first poopy diaper last night, so things are moving along now.

She got to see all the grandparents yesterday. Dad and Betty stopped by for a brief visit yesterday morning, and then we did Skype sessions with the Mulvany and Thomas grandparents last night.

She is still in what we are calling "survival mode". She is not interested in much beyond eating, sleeping, and being held. She has been able to sleep for a couple of 5 to 7 hour periods, which has been great. She is still adjusting to her new surroundings. Each day is a little better than the last. We don't have much of a routine established yet, but are starting to introduce little things, like washing her hands in the sink after eating. (She seems to like playing in the water.) She doesn't like diaper changes, but then who does.

She is making eye contact with us, which is great. We got a little smile out of her last night. Little steps in the right direction . . .
