We had Lydia's baby dedication on Sunday, June 27th at our church (The Radisson Hotel edition). We were blessed to have Katy's parents and older sister from Kansas City and my folks from Carterville, IL in town for the event.
This has been such a long journey for us, so each milestone like Katy's first Mother's Day, my first Father's Day, and Lydia's Dedication is very special. We truly thank God for blessing us with Lydia and for sustaining us through the wait. We know that He has placed her in our family and has a special plan for her life. We are so excited to be part of this plan and look forward to watching her grow up.

Your parents are from Carterville, IL. I grew up in Mt. Vernon, IL... about 35 miles north of Carterville. Small world! Love the pics of Lydia and so sorry that she had such a traumatic doctor experience. It's terrible, I know.
