O, Sleep, where art thou?

Our sleep schedule is all messed up. Lydia's prime "awake" time hours are somewhere between 7 PM and 8 AM. So we were not able to make it to church today. We have to get her on US time soon. May try keeping her up throughout the day tomorrow. She has her first doctor's appointment in the morning.

We are enjoying some good interactions with Lydia, but she also is having times of grieving. She eats well, but is not taking any formula. We are trying to get her to drink more.

Here are some recent pictures.

  1. So good to see you all today!!!! We sure are glad she is here!!!

She is precious. Sleep will come. (it may be a few years from now, but it will come!)

We are still praying. It may feel tough right now but you are walking in the miracle of answered prayer. God is so good.

    We love you guys!

  2. It sounds like things are going okay so far; the grieving is to be expected. Caroline came home at 10mo and for a few weeks even after she went to bed okay, she'd still cry some at night sometimes. Having those positive interactions and getting smiles is a good sign, though.

Have you taken advantage of the nice weather? Getting lots of sun is supposed to help reset your body's clock, and I think it does help.
