We took her for her first doctor's appointment on Monday. She hated getting stripped down to her diaper and thrown on the scale. (I can't blame her. I sometimes want to cry when I get on the scale, too.) Doc said the time change/sleep schedule adjustment may take several weeks. Lydia had some wax build up in the ears, so we are doing the ear drops thing for a week.
She is getting used to riding in the car seat. We've taken her a couple of places, including to a Korean food store, WalMart, Babies-R-Us, and even to church for early morning prayer (Why not, we were up since 2 AM anyway.) We even tried having Katy ride in the front seat instead of sitting in the back with her. Not sure if she was just tired or what, but she handled it pretty well. Lydia handled it well, too. Thinking we need to get one of those mirrors, so we can see her since her car seat is currently rear facing.
Katy took her for a walk today in the stroller, and she loved it. Lydia kept "checking in" with Katy through the peep window in the canopy, which is a good sign. She was fascinated by the birds chirping and the dogs barking.
We are having some really good playtimes with Lydia, even if they are at 2 or 3 in the morning. Her smile is infectious and she does the cutest things every so often.
Overall, things are going pretty well. We are still trying to figure the dry skin issue, but are trying some different lotions/shampoo. Also, picked up some laundry detergent that was free of perfumes/dyes to see if that may help.
The next posting may be entitled "The fountain of Lydia", but I need to check with Katy before posting that one. . .

LOVE IT!!!Fountain of Lydia..
